Procedure for Application

  a) The start date of commencement of PPA, if approved, shall be 1st day of month and end date shall be end of the month for the period for which applications are submitted.

  b) The applicant shall apply 30 days in advance to the period (start date of purchase of energy) for which it desire to sale the power. e.g. for the period starting from June, the application shall be submitted prior to 30th April.

  c) The applicant shall fill complete and correct information in the relevant column.

  d) Merely submitting an application does not guarantee the power purchase by MSEDCL.

  e) Applicant shall be solely responsible for incomplete & incorrect information.

  f) Applicant is requested to note the Request ID for future tracking of application.

  g) E-mail id & mobile no is mandatory.

  h) The applicant shall give confirmation to acceptance of LOI within 3 days and execute PPA within 10 days from the date of issuance of LOI. In case, the applicant fails to execute PPA within such time then the LOI shall stand cancelled automatically.

Term of tenure of PPA

a) The RE power shall be purchased only if the short term application is for a fixed period of 1 year (12 months) or upto the useful life of WTG.

b) The application shall be accepted for future periods only. i.e. the application for the energy injected in the past will not be considered.

Tariff

  For Wind,

  Group I - Rs. 2.25 per unit

  Other - Rs. 2.52 per unit

  For Solar - Rs. 2.42 per unit

General

  a) The applicant/ generator shall not enter into open access for the period applied for Sale to MSEDCL. If found in such a case, the both permissions i. e. Open Access permission and Sale to MSEDCL permissions, shall stand cancelled and the energy injected will be at risk & cost of the generator of the overlapping period shall be treated as lapsed.

  b) The purchase of power will be effected only after execution of the Power Purchase Agreement. Signing of PPA is prerequisite for scheduling / injection of energy. The injectection of power into the grid without valid PPA shall be at the risk and cost of the generator.

  c) It shall be MSEDCL's discretion to purchase power under a short term transaction and MSEDCL reserves its right to reject an application without assigning any reason.

  d) The wind generators shall apply for entire capacity of the WTG for short term agreement. Splitting of WTG capacity shall not be considered under short term purchase and the application shall be rejected.
